Rolo is not only as sweet as the candy that he is named after, but he is just as cute and stunning and unique all in equal parts! Rolo is really great with other dogs and people of all sorts and cats fit in the mix! Rolo tends to be a little shy. He obviously is underexposed and leans on seeking shelter right at your side. On walks, he just constantly checks in with you and makes complete eye contact. He just doesn’t understand what you’re doing or what you want him to do. His underexposure makes him appear shy. It’s not in him to react in a negative way - he just gets more submissive - kind of like melting butter. Rolo obviously had some conflicting upbringing. Therefore, what we’re looking for is a caring and educational adopter so that his confidence can be built up so he feels comfortable with everything he’s doing in life. He’s really smart. He’s very quiet and neat and tidy. He knows rules. He just is very unsure if he’s doing the right thing and needs real direction and positive reinforcement so he KNOWS he’s “got it”. He needs somebody that will interact on a playful level with him to allow him to let loose like he should already feel like he is allowed to do! Let’s open his world up! Let’s get this littlle guy feeling really comfortable with life! He’s not super fearful, he just acts like he’s walking in eggshells al the time. We need somebody that can really boost him to a very comfortable state. He’s so awesome already but he needs to KNOW he is! He needs a human(s) that would take him out on outings, errands, lunches out in public places so he super comfortable with all aspects of life! Shower him with praise, love and interactive exchanges.
