Roko's Story
PLEASE NOTE THAT FILLING OUT A PETFINDER INQUIRY DOES NOT SUBSTITUTE FOR FILLING OUT AN ONLINE APPLICATION ON THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE. THANK YOU

Meet RoKo, an energetic and sweet 4 year old, orange and white roan male Brittany (handsome too). RoKo comes to New England Brittany Rescue with a mix of energy and snuggles and quickly settled into his foster home. He loves meeting new people and is always happy to greet anyone who comes to the door. Roko comes with some good manners too -- he doesn’t jump up on visitors, no counter surfing or table begging, sits calmly when getting him geared up for a walk, and is friendly to all he meets. He’s also gentle when taking treats and likely knows more tricks than his foster family has discovered. Who could ask for more? Oh, there is one area that could use improvement -- his leash walking (surprise, surprise) so he’ll need a family willing to help him polish those skills.
Roko says he’d love an active family who enjoys walking, playing, and spending time outdoors. A fenced backyard is a must, as he is very interested in resident squirrels and chipmunks! But don’t let his energetic side fool you—Roko is good in the house and quite the snuggler. He would do best with older children.
A sense of humor is a must – Roko is very smart and can be quite a character. He is good with his 4-legged foster brother but can be budgie as he prefers to get all the attention. He would also be happy as an ‘only’ dog.
Roko sleeps the night through, is house trained, and rides well in the car. He is crate trained but is not kept in the crate as he has very good house manners.
Roko is neutered, up to date with vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.
If you would like to learn more about this wonderful fellow, please fill out an adoption application at the New England Brittany Rescue website, www.nebrittanyrescue.org. We look forward to hearing from you.
