Roink's Story

Meet Roink, a happy, social girl with the perfect balance of playful energy and cuddle time. She loves chasing toys, learning new things for treats, and curling up on the couch for a well-earned nap. Friendly, curious, and always eager to greet new friends, she's the kind of dog who wants to be part of whatever her family is doing.

Roink is a quick learner who is eager to please and has earned an A+ in house training. She's continuing to improve with crate training and she may let out a few cries at first because she'd much rather be playing with her canine friends, but she settles down quickly. She can be talkative when people or dogs pass by the house, and while she enjoys human attention, she truly thrives with other dogs. Her foster feels she would be happiest in a home with another playful canine companion, as she has fit seamlessly into her foster pack and loves to wrestle, play, and snuggle with them. She can be a little bossy at times, but she gets along wonderfully with other dogs who enjoy her playful personality.

Quick Stats!
--Dogs: Gets along great with other dogs and would love a home with a canine companion
--Cats: Has not been introduced to cats
--Children: Although she doesn't currently live with children, she has done great with them during several extended visits. Mutts of the Midway's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to adopt and your interest in Mutts of the Midway. Once there is an interest in a dog, our adoption application is completed with that dog noted. The application is vetted and two personal references and one veterinarian reference are checked. If approved, a meet and greet is set-up with all family members (including children and other dogs) and the adoptable dog. If the adopter and foster family agree it is a good fit, the adoption contract is completed and the adoption fee ($350 for a dog 6 months and younger, $300 for a dog older than 6 months) is paid. Finally the pick-up of the new family member is arranged! All applications are processed in the order they are received and we strive to find the best home for each of our dogs. All adopted animals will go into their forever home current on vaccines, microchipped, spay/neutered, heartworm preventative and given a health exam.
