Roger's Story
Roger found himself chained outside with his siblings while his people left them to starve. He was in the worst shape of all of them when Animal Control picked them up. Poor Roger was so anemic that he couldn't stand up or lift his head. He was rushed to the vet for an emergency blood transfusion.
Well, this pup is a fighter for sure! After his transfusion, he started to wag his tail and slowly eat.
He's doing so well now!!He got along with his siblings (obviously since they were all chained together).
He loves his foster family and has been such a good boy!! He's healthy and his weight is great. Just ready for his forever home.
A fenced yard would be really good for him but not necessary. A female furry friend would be good but also he's perfectly content not sharing love. His foster thinks he would also be a good apartment size based on his demeanor and size.
**NC only
