Rodger's Story
Hi! My name is Rodger and I am looking for a forever home. I have actually started having a run of good luck ... first, I wandered up into the parking lot of a veterinary clinic; second, everyone at the clinic fell in love with me including the vet; third, the small local animal shelter was full and could not take me in; fourth, after my stray hold was up the vet called a rescue client who happene to be with BCAA and asked if they could help me and they said yes ... how lucky was that?!? I am a small pittie possibly mixed with a lab and have a really nice shiny black coat. The vet thinks I'm about 4 years old and I weigh around 46lbs although I'm on the shorter side (think of a small tank). My foster home has been great ... I get lots of good food and treats, get to meet lots of other dogs, and get a nice safe place to lay my head each night. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding but I would really prefer to be out with you. I am good on leash with just minimal tugging if I see something interesting to check out. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
