Meet Roderick! This young playful guy does not know his size so be prepared to meet an exuberant, full of life, happy dog that wants out of his kennel.

Roderick needs some training with manners and because of his size, is strong and determined to go where he wants to go. No doubt that once he is in a home with structure, playtime, walks and guidance, he will settle in and adjust to home life. This guy thinks he is a lap dog at times so be ready for him to get comfy on yours. It appears he is housebroken but we always tell adopters to give dogs a chance to learn a new routine.

Roderick has done good with dogs he has met with his energy level at the shelter but a meet and greet is needed to make sure he is a good fit for a resident dog. He has a very comical side to him which will surely make anyone smile.
Roderick is patiently waiting for his furever home and he is hoping that it will happen very soon...



Because of the COVID19 situation, the shelter is closed to the general public. If you would like to meet any of the adoptable dogs, please fill out an application online (if you are not already pre-approved) , call the shelter, and leave a message with your name and phone number and the dog you're interested in. Have patience, and they will call you back when they can. From there, a time will be scheduled for you to come and meet the dog. Please be patient, and remember they are very short staffed at the moment.
