Rocky Girl: local dog, child and cat loving great dog!'s Story

Hiya, I am Rocky, a loving, happy and as near to perfect 7 year old Lab Girl as you will ever meet, I get along with children, adults, dogs and cats. Even a tiny kitten, who nap with me sometimes.

I rarely bark. I stay home alone fine. I am good at walks. I ride well in the car, and I love swimming, fetch, cuddling, being at home and adventure.

I am fostered in Tualatin, Oregon.

I love walks, the couch, cuddling, fetch, swimming and I am fine at home alone.

I currently eat Hills Science Gastrobiome for soft stools, but my rescue can help suggest other foods/resolve the issue with different food.

I am spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and flea treated. I come with my harness, collar, remaining food and my other gear. I am a deal at $250.

A great home for me and my must haves include:

1. A home with full sized fenced yard.
2. Folks ideally not gone long hours. We will consider 8 hours plus commute, but would love this girl to have a bit shorter days home alone.
3. Active folks who will exercise me, take me to do things I love, and include me in their fun activities.
If you meet above criteria, please do your best elfin trot to inquire or apply:

To apply, complete the following application. A Woof Over My Head's Adoption Policy
Interested folks email us, telling us a bit about yourself and how the dog will fit into your life. Ideally, please leave a phone number and email. We will get in touch with you, either to chat first, or to send an application. If your application looks great, we'll check in, and your references are called. If it seems a great match, a meet is arranged, usually at potential adopters home/yard to allow for home inspection (home inspection via video of public areas of your home during Covid-19). Adoptions that are a match often, but not always, happen at the meet: the adoption contract is discussed, signed and the adoption donation is paid. You will receive records via email and usually, a set of "operating instructions" specific to the dog you have adopted. Each dog is sent off with a harness or martingale collar and enough food to get started. You supply an ID tag with one or two phone numbers, and a non-retractable leash. We check in several times after adoption, and we are always available for questions or updates and photos!
