Meet Rocky! 🐾<br/>Rocky is an adorable 11-week-old male Pomeranian with a happy spirit and so much love to give! This sweet little guy happens to be deaf, which is due to a very rare genetic situation where both parents carried a hidden merle gene — even though neither parent was merle themselves.<br/>Rocky may not hear the world around him, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit! He’s a playful, joyful puppy who absolutely loves toys and enjoys romping around with other dogs that are patient and tolerant of his puppy energy.<br/>He’s doing great in his kennel and sleeps through the night like a champ until around 5:30 AM with no accidents. Potty training is still a work in progress, but as long as he gets outside often, he does pretty well. Like any young puppy, he still has indoor accidents sometimes while learning.<br/>Rocky is also starting to understand hand signals and will even sit on his own when he comes inside. He’s a smart little boy who is eager to learn and thrives with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement.<br/>Leashes aren’t his favorite thing yet, but he’s slowly getting more comfortable with them every day. Rocky is looking for a loving home that understands his special needs and is ready to help him continue building confidence and communication skills.<br/>If you’re looking for a sweet, resilient, toy-loving companion with a heart full of happiness, Rocky may be your perfect match! ❤️<br/>Rocky will need a home either experienced with training deaf dogs, or someone with the time, patience and dedication to learn.<br/>He is too small to neuter at this time and at this point is unilateral cryptorchid. If his second testicle does not drop by 6 months, he will require a more invasive surgery to remove the retained one. Adopter will be required to provide proof of neuter by the age of 6 months per contract. At that time, a 50$ refund will be made available. Rocky’s adoption fee is $300.
