Rocky's Story
If you're interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application at https://www.sarahstreasuresrescue.net/application-to-adopt

- Approximately 7-12 month old Neutered Male Mixed Breed approximately 35-45 pounds. He has been DNA tested and showed 17 breeds with the top being: Australian Cattle Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, Golden Retriever, and Miniature American Shepherd.

- He’s great with other dogs and enjoys hanging out and playing. He absolutely loves to wrestle with others!

- Rocky will try and chase the cats, however, if the cat stands their ground, he thinks they are scary and keeps distance!

- Rocky loves other people and is super happy to make new friends. He adores children and thinks its great if they run and play with him!

- Kennel trained and mostly house trained

Rocky arrived to rescue with 2 of his other siblings from a South Dakota Reservation saved from euthanasia. Rocky is working hard on learning basic obedience commands and working on leash walking skills. He loves to be near and enjoys snuggles. He has a low-medium energy level and enjoys a good walk daily.

Rocky has been vet checked, is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, neutered, and current on his flea/tick/heartworm/deworming preventatives. Rocky’s adoption donation fee is $300.00

We realize that people are looking for a predominant breed or breed mixture, but visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
