Rocky

Rocky is a male German Shepherd mix apx 2 years old. His history is unknown but his time in foster care has shown a bit of his personality!<br/> <br/>This guy is one big goof! He loves playing fetch with his giant jolly ball. He loves squeaky toys. He really just likes to run & play with his people but sometimes he doesn't know his own size. Rocky will need some training to stop jumping up on people. Because of his size & lack of boundaries, he is not recommended for any family with small children. <br/><br/>Big guy enjoys playing with other dogs. He gets along well with another german shepherd roughly the same size as him. He has not been introduced to small pets though. When Rocky sees a small dog on the other side of the sliding glass door, he jumps like crazy trying to get to that dog. It is uncertain whether he just wants to play or if he may become aggressive, but regardless he is a danger to small animals solely based on his energy & strength.<br/><br/>Rocky is currently not neutered but has an appointment set for his alteration. The clinic that we use has a wait period of 4-5 months at this time. If his adopter would like to maintain this apt, his neuter will be covered with his adoption fee. If the new owner would like to take Rocky to another clinic they may do so, however the cost of the visit will be the adopters responsibility.
