With no plan in place, he ended up in a shelter — cold, confused, and waiting for someone who never came. They had no room inside, so this sweet boy was kept in an outdoor pen until PPR stepped in.<br/><br/>Even after all he’s been through, Rocky is gentle, affectionate, and eager to bond with his person. He loves meeting new people, including kids, and he’s all tail wags when he feels safe.<br/><br/>Because of a compressed spine, Rocky has a few special needs — but they are very manageable with a simple routine:<br/><br/>- He wears a belly band during the day<br/>- He should be safely confined at night<br/>- He would thrive as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love<br/><br/>Rocky is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and dewormed. He also recently had a dental cleaning where nine teeth were removed, and he’s feeling so much better now.
