Rocky's Story
Rocky is a stunning, blue-eyed Husky mix with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. He originally came to us as a stray and was later surrendered. Rocky is everything you’d expect from a Husky mix—active, curious, outgoing, playful, and independent. He has plenty of energy to burn and would thrive with an adopter who enjoys outdoor adventures, consistent structure, and mental stimulation. He’s also leash trained and reportedly settled quickly after alert barking when visitors arrived.

Before coming to the shelter, Rocky lived strictly outdoors and slept in a doghouse, so he may need help adjusting to indoor life and routines. He’s eager, smart, and ready to learn—he just needs someone patient and committed to giving him that chance.

Rocky cannot live in a home with small animals. Due to a strong prey drive and a history of harming wildlife and poultry, he must be placed in a home without chickens, cats, small dogs, or other small animals. A securely fenced yard will be important to help keep him and neighborhood critters safe.

Rocky will make an incredible companion for the right home—someone who appreciates an energetic, independent dog and can give him the structure, enrichment, and environment he needs to thrive.

If you’re ready to give Rocky the fresh start he deserves, please reach out to us to meet this handsome boy!
