Meet Rocky!<br/><br/>Rocky is one of 40 incredibly lucky pups who came into our program from a shelter in California's Central Valley. We're so excited to welcome this sweet group to the Pacific Northwest as they begin their next chapter filled with safety, comfort, and love. 31 of the dogs in this new group are Chihuahuas, Chihuahua mixes, and other small-breed cuties that were saved from an unfortunate hoarding situation where there was a total of 67 dogs. We'll be sharing more updates, photos, and personality details as we get to know each of them better now that they're in our custody. In the meantime, our foster and adopter outreach has officially begun, and we're hoping that these little ones will find their homes and families quickly!<br/><br/>Foster Update 6/10.<br/>Rocky is a lovable boy. He does well with people who let him initiate the friendship. He LOVES his person! He has plenty of energy, especially in the morning. He would love a doggy sibling or regular interactions with his kind. Rocky needs the opportunity to run and stretch his legs with a good dog friend. He's working on manners, but, has come a long way.
