Looking for 2nd Chance ???

#Rocky first came to our rescue as a little puppy when his entire litter was surrendered to us from a family in Detroit that had an accidental litter. He was quickly adopted by a family with 2 little girls and loved DEARLY.

Sadly, this year Rocky had an accident outside where he fractured the bone in his front leg requiring emergency surgery which was very expensive. His family made the heartbreaking decision that they felt it would be better for Rocky to come back to our rescue where he could get his surgery and recover without little kids as their family was not able to provide that for him. ??

Rocky has done AMAZING since going to his foster mom, Shelby and has been officially cleared by his surgeon that his leg is now fully healed after surgery. Rocky is OFFICIALLY now looking for his 2nd chance at a #FURever family. ??

Rocky is an approximately 1.5YR old husky/pitty mix. He weighs about 50lbs. Rocky has been around dogs, cats, and children in his previous and current home — but, slow, supervised introductions are ALWAYS recommended. ?

As a husky mix, he is a high energy breed that will require a significant amount of activity (fenced yard, doggy playmate at home, or doggy daycare, etc) & he does have mild separation anxiety, which he’s been working on in his foster home. He seems to do okay as long as he isn’t confined to a small space OR if there is someone home often.

Rocky is a VERY sweet, goofy boy that is eager to love, snuggle, and please anyone that shares a home with him. ???
