Rocky

Rocky is a beautiful 2-year-old Mastiff/Lab mix. Poor Rocky was not treated with love and respect in his previous home like every dog should be, which resulted in him becoming very fearful and untrusting. He needs time to warm up to a person before he shows his true personality and yearns for a connection where he finally feels safe. He gets especially anxious and fearful if voices are raised or if he is out in public. Once Rocky knows you, he is very playful and loves his stuffed animals. He loves to run around the yard with a ball in his mouth and sniff all the new scents. Rocky desperately needs a routine and someone who can help him gain confidence and learn how to just be a normal dog. A quiet adult home only home would be best for him. Experience with larger breeds such as Mastiff's would be highly preferred so his behaviors are understood better. We hope Rocky can finally have the second chance he deserves.
