Hi! My name is Rocky. I’m looking for a quiet furever home without kids or other dogs. I’m a bit cautious of people, and my caretakers think it was because my heart was broken after my owner dropped me off at the shelter; I cried for her as she turned and walked out. I also tend to get overly excited around other dogs, and sudden movements make me afraid. I can learn to trust you, but it’ll just take some time, so please be patient with me. I bond really well with women, but I like men, too. I was born in August 2013, and I've been at the shelter since August 2018. I weigh about 20-25 lbs, and I’ve been vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, and would be neutered before going to my furever home. My caregivers don't know yet how I feel about cats, but if that's important to you, they can introduce me to some here at the shelter to see how I do.
