Rocky's Story

Meet Rocky!
Rocky is a handsome Plott Hound mix with a unique, dark brindle coat that makes him stand out wherever he goes. But it’s not just his looks that make him special, it’s his loving, fun personality that truly steals the show.

Rocky is a social, playful boy who enjoys running around and playing with other dogs. He does well with canine friends and would make a great addition to a family looking for a dog who can keep up with both playtime and downtime. One of his favorite things? Giving hugs. He’s an affectionate boy who loves being close to his people.

He is crate trained, house trained, quick to go potty, and has a fast recall. Rocky knows “sit,” takes treats happily, and enjoys both play sessions and relaxing cuddle time. He has a great balance of energy, happy to run and play, but also just as content being your couch companion.

Rocky has been waiting patiently for his forever home for quite some time. He was originally saved by another rescue but was unfortunately abandoned in boarding. He has now been with our rescue for 2 years, still holding onto hope for the family he deserves.

He is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention. Rocky is currently in foster care and available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter.

If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion who will bring both fun and love into your home, Rocky could be your perfect match. Please reach out to schedule a FaceTime meet and greet and learn more about bringing him home.
