Rocky's Story

MEET ROCKY, a 1-1/2-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves his human! He weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. He's done well with other dogs in the past. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where his person or people work from home, or are retired, as he loves company. Please email for an application.

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Once adopters inquire about an animal, we send them our application. From there, we interview them via phone, and when possible set up a meet and greet if we feel they are good candidates to adopt. We also have fosters in the three states mentioned and they help as well with meet and greets, photos and of course care of the animals.

Our Mission

Freedom Ride Rescue Inc. saves animals from shelters in Southern California, and helps place them in loving homes on the West Coast, primarily in California, Oregon and Washington. Our goal is to help animals who have had a rough start in life go on to live happy and healthy lives.
