Our dogs get extensive lab tests, spay or neuter, vaccines and dentals and other treatments as needed, and are on heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Our vet asked if we would take Rocky when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a true velcro dog and needs a home where there is a person home most of the time. He feels most secure when he is touching his person - right now he is sitting between my feet. Rocky is happy and active and on a diet for his 10 pound self. He should probably be about 8 pounds. He is very sweet and loving and is doing well with his housebreaking, using pads most of the time when he cannot go outside. He loves to take walks and go for car rides. Rocky is about 6 yrs old and has been well cared for. He needs a fenced yard because he will go on a walk without you if he gets a chance. He would not do well in an apartment. He is great with all the other dogs and is fine with the cat.
