Rocko Star's Story
Rocko Star A187602
68 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old

-This goofy boy is just the cutest little derp! That big, silly smile is impossible not to love.
-He can be a little unsure at first, but once he starts getting comfortable, he warms up and enjoys attention in his own adorably awkward way.
-He's very treat motivated once he settles in and already knows "sit." He takes treats nicely and seems like a pretty easygoing guy overall.
-He walks nicely with minimal pulling, making him a pleasant little walking buddy.
-He seems like a boy who doesn't ask for much -- just some time to get comfortable, a little patience while he learns the ropes, and someone who will let him figure things out at his own pace.
-He's a sweet, harmless, slightly derpy guy who seems ready to find his people and learn what being part of a family is all about. That goofy smile is just a bonus!
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30

**We ask that if you're looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog.

**1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
