Rockie

Rockie is a 1-year-old Pomeranian mix who came to us after being found as a stray. When he was found, he was wearing a harness that was so tight it actually had to be cut off. We dont know anything about Rockies life before coming to the shelter, but were looking forward to helping him start a much happier chapter.<br/><br/>Rockie is a little shy when he first meets you, but he is slowly starting to open up and show us his sweet personality. We have a feeling that as he becomes more comfortable and realizes he is safe, were going to see even more of his personality come out!<br/><br/>We are currently working on crate training and potty training, and Rockie is doing great with both. Because he came to us as a stray and we dont know his vaccination history, we havent introduced him to many other dogs just yet. He has met our shelter cats and simply ignored them.<br/><br/>Rockie is still young and has plenty of time to learn what being part of a family is all about. We believe he could fit into many different types of homes with a family willing to give him a little time to settle in and build his confidence.<br/><br/>Rockie is neutered and current on his vaccinations. He is full grown at 10.6 pounds. <br/><br/>We may not know where Rockies story started, but we know he deserves a wonderful next chapter. If you have a little patience, a lot of love, and a spot in your family for a sweet little guy, come meet Rockie!
