Rocket 1 year old neutered Male currently 99 pounds and growing.<br/><br/>Rocket and his brother Groot came to RAWL as strays. Clearly well cared for, as they were recently groomed, and had new collars on. Not to mention how social they are. <br/><br/>They do not have to be adopted together.<br/><br/>Rocket was well cared for. Upon his arrival, it was clear he had been recently groomed and was sporting a new collar. He is also a big, lovable teddy bear. He is kind and tries very hard to do the right thing. He is great with other dogs, tested fine with cats, and loves kids. He is housebroken and easy to walk. He likes to take his time. <br/><br/>Rocket has no idea how to be a livestock guardian dog. He likes the comforts of a home. A couch or dog bed, definitely a TV, and AC is a must! <br/><br/>A lot of pluses with this guy. Negatives? He needs help getting into a car. He hasn't quite figured out that the back end needs to go in as well.<br/><br/>Our adoption process begins with an application. The application can be found on the RAWL website www.rawldogs.org. All dogs are fully vetted and have a 30 day trial with refund.

Rappahannock Animal Welfare League's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to make a compatible match between a dog and its potential owner. We do not guarantee your application will be approved for the dog you are interested in adopting.  The adoption fee is $200.00 and includes the cost of spaying or neutering, DHLPP, Bordetella, Rabies,snap testing, micro-chip, deworming started on H/W preventive and flea and tick preventive. Puppies under 14 weeks old will not have received their rabies vaccine, and snap testing; it is the responsibility of the owner to make sure this vaccination and snap test are given at the appropriate age.
