Rock didn't get the start he deserved.<br/><br/>He came from a cruelty confiscation case after being starved and neglected, and he landed in a high-intake shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized for space. Thankfully, he made it out just in time—and somehow, despite everything, he still thinks life is the greatest thing ever.<br/><br/>This boy wakes up every morning like he just won the lottery.<br/><br/>His hobbies include carrying toys around like prized possessions, acting as if every meal is a five-star dining experience, being incredibly curious about the world around him, and making friends with just about everyone he meets.<br/><br/>Rock does have some pent-up energy, so his forever family should be ready to give him plenty of good walks, playtime, and other outlets to keep his busy brain and body happy. He's a curious boy who loves to explore and would thrive with a family that enjoys keeping him active and engaged.<br/><br/>When it's time to settle down, Rock is great in his crate. He'd happily spend some crate time working on a frozen Kong, puzzle toy, or another fun form of entertainment to keep him occupied.<br/><br/>He's crate trained, fully potty trained, and has the kind of happy, affectionate personality that makes him impossible not to love.<br/><br/>Rock has already survived the hard part. Now he needs a family who will give him the exercise, enrichment, love, and stability he's been missing—and never let him wonder where his next meal, toy, or hug is coming from.<br/><br/>If you've got room on your couch (and don't mind sharing it with one very large-headed cuddle bug), Rock is ready to come home. <br/><br/>NOTE: Rock is heartworm positive and will need to go through treatment. Heartworm disease is easily treatable and NOT transmissible to other pets or people. He is available for foster to adopt while going through treatment. Please don't let this deter you from adopting an amazing boy!
