ROCCO's Story

My foster's contact is, Mertshert@gmail.com Meet Rocco, the sweetest little snugglebug you’ll ever meet! ?? He may be a bit timid at first, but once he feels safe, his true personality shines through—loving, cuddly, and so eager to be your best friend. This boy is incredibly food-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. He’s still learning leash manners (his adorable zig-zag walk keeps things interesting!) and is potty trained, so he’ll need a patient family to help him continue building good habits. He loves other dogs and would love a furry sibling to play with and learn from! He wants a dog friend to challenge him and not be submissive. He could also be a great single dog as long as he gets activity in! He has been good with cats and children. Letting young children come up to him at a brewery and be in his face giving him love At home, he’s a dream in the crate—sleeping peacefully through the night and content when left alone. He loves exploring the yard, sniffing every corner, and having a good romp before curling up for snuggles. A fenced in yard would be best as he enjoys being outside and this helps remind him to go potty outside. Because he’s still gaining confidence, loud noises can be a little scary right now, but he’s learning that the world is a safe place with the help of patient people around him. Above all, he’s just so sweet and affectionate—the kind of dog who will quickly steal your heart. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves to cuddle, play, and bring joy to your days, Rocco is waiting to meet you!
