Wherever Rocco goes, you'll find him happily sniffing around and taking in the world at his own curious pace.<br/><br/>The best way to describe Rocco is as a dog who enjoys the best of both worlds. While he enjoys relaxing on the couch and soaking up affection, he also loves getting outside for a walk and exploring new sights and smells. Despite his age, he still gets excited for his daily adventures and enjoys meeting new friends along the way, both human and canine.<br/><br/>Rocco has been thriving in his foster home and has proven himself to be an incredibly well-mannered companion. He is house-trained, crate-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and comes when called. In fact, his fosters noticed his recall is so good that he barely seems to need a leash at all. He is respectful in the home, doesn't get into things, and has wonderful house manners.<br/><br/>One of Rocco's most lovable qualities is his gentle nature. He rarely barks, shows no signs of aggression, and approaches new people, animals, and situations with a calm, easygoing attitude. He enjoys the company of other dogs but is not much interested in roughhousing or constant play. At the dog park, you'll usually find him happily sniffing around and exploring rather than joining in the chaos. He will occasionally play with a ball, but his favorite activities are leisurely walks, investigating new scents, and spending time with his people.<br/><br/>When the adventures are over, Rocco is happiest curled up beside the people he loves. He enjoys snuggling and being close to his family, but he's also independent enough to relax on his own. The only thing you might notice is that he loves his people so much that he occasionally gets a little jealous when another dog is receiving all the attention.
