Rocco #13548's Story

Meet Rocco! ?

Rocco is a 3-year-old, 15-pound Puggle with a heart as big as his playful energy. While he may seem a little cautious at first, once he feels comfortable, he reveals his happy-go-lucky personality. Think of him as a tough guy on the outside but a total teddy bear on the inside!

Rocco has been thriving in his foster home, where he’s been learning important “petiquette” and working on commands like sit, stay, come, and loose-leash walking. He’s also crate-trained and enjoys having a cozy spot to call his own. Sometimes his excitement and impulses get the best of him, but he’s making great progress with positive reinforcement training and would benefit from continuing this in his forever home.

Rocco loves to play and has shown potential to excel in small dog agility with the right training. Whether it’s entertaining you with his antics or curling up on the couch for a snuggle, he’s happy to do it all. He does well with other dogs he's been properly introduced to and would love a buddy who matches his rough-and-tumble energy while also setting a good example for him. However, he can also thrive as an only dog if he has plenty of engagement and companionship.

Given his size, age, and personality, Rocco would do best in a home with mature or older children. He enjoys taking his time to approach new situations and thrives with a routine that helps him feel secure.

Rocco’s past is a bit of a mystery, as he was found wandering the streets, but he’s ready to leave that chapter behind and start his new adventure with a loving family.

Ready to meet Rocco?
