At just 1 year old and 11 pounds, she is the definition of a perfect pocket pup.<br/>Saved from a high-kill shelter in South Texas, Robin has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate, and well-mannered little companion. She loves being near her people and is happiest simply curled up beside her human, soaking in the love.<br/>Robin does wonderfully in her foster home with three dogs and two cats — and she is especially respectful and submissive with the cats. She has a soft, sweet nature and fits beautifully into a calm household.<br/>She clearly has Jack Russell Terrier DNA (and the clever ability to squeeze through fence posts!) And her expressive face hints at a possible Chihuahua mix as well. Her look is as charming as her personality.<br/>Robin recently completed heartworm treatment with Diroban and is now on the road to a healthy, happy future. She handled treatment like a little champ and is ready to start her next chapter.<br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly, easy-going companion who will quietly steal your heart, Robin may be your perfect match.<br/>Robin will be available soon for adoption in San Antonio, Texas — and she is absolutely worth the wait!<br/>Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)<br/>You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.<br/>Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® Heartworm Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.<br/>Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.<br/>Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories.<br/>Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.<br/><br/>All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.<br/><br/>We also host additional adoption events throughout the year.
