Robin's Story

Don't see Robin in the kennel? Don't worry, she's in there! She prefers to hide under her bed where she feels the safest. Robin is a sensitive girl who is still adjusting to the shelter life. She would love a patient family to help her gain confidence and watch her come out of her shell. When she first came into the shelter, she was covered in mats and was deathly afraid of the leash and us. With some time, we have been able to make some progress. She is still not a big fan of the leash but is very tolerant with handling. We were able to shave her down and remove the majority of the mats in her fur. She is feeling much better. Robin would do best in a home with low traffic and older children. She is very skittish and will need a family who understands not to push her and allow her to warm up on her terms. This sweet girl needs some help learning that the world is not as scary as it feels to her right now. If you have other pets in your home, we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Robin home. If you are interested in meeting Robin, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 15.5lbs Age: 5yrs 0mths 1wks Animal has been Spayed
