Robin's Story

Robin is a beautiful brindle pit mix with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. She came to us alongside her mom, one sister, and four brothers—her little family has slowly started finding their forever homes, and now it’s Robin’s turn to shine.

At just 4 months old, Robin is still learning about the world around her. She can be quite shy at first and needs a little time and patience to feel safe, but once she opens up, you’ll see her true personality blossom. She becomes playful, gentle, and incredibly loyal—forming a bond that’s truly special.

Robin enjoys playtime and does well meeting other dogs, but she would prefer a home without young children, as they can make her a bit uncomfortable. She’s still working on potty training and leash skills, but with her young age and willingness to trust, she has so much potential to grow into an amazing companion.

What Robin needs most is a calm, patient, and loving home—someone who understands that the best relationships take time. With a little guidance, attention, and maybe some training along the way, Robin will absolutely thrive. Once she finds her person, there’s no doubt she’ll give them her whole heart.

Interested in adopting Robin? Contact:

Boonville Animal Control Shelter
📍 1560 E.
