Robin's Story
Say hello to Robin! Robin has a very special birthday, because he was born on New Year’s Day in 2022. Hopefully he will get to spend his next birthday in his forever home. This handsome black boy is three and half years old, and weighs in at just under 75 pounds.

Volunteers describe Robin as a “friendly chap” who loves to play. He walks calmly on the leash and is another kennel favorite because of his sweet and gentle demeanor. They say he will make a lovely addition to someone’s family! He has not been cat or small dog tested yet.

During his racing career he was known as Glosha Robin, and he ran 44 races before retiring on June 10. Unfortunately, Robin fractured his hock and needed a screw to repair it. (The vet describes the screw as “preventative” and volunteers say it does not give him discomfort or issues. He doesn’t seem to notice it at all, and is fully healed.

We primarily adopt across the Midwest, including Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Missouri, and surrounding states.
