At around 5 years old and around 57 lbs, he's happiest snoozing on the couch and soaking up love. <br/><br/>Roar is fully housebroken, not using a crate, and absolutely not destructive — sleeping is his main hobby. Roar is truly one of the best walkers you'll ever meet. He gets excited for walks but never pulls, starts a few feet ahead, and then settles right at your side like a perfect gentleman. Roar likes dogs but can be a bit assertive and needs reminders to give space. He will do best if he can soak up all your love in a calm, peaceful home, and being the only pet lets his sweet, gentle personality shine even brighter. Children 15+ would be best.<br/><br/>Roar LOVES people and greets everyone calmly. If you forget to pet him, he'll give a polite "hey buddy, I'm right here" snort. No barking, no jumping, just love. Roar is affectionate but not clingy. He loves being near his people, enjoys attention and is wonderfully calm and steady.<br/><br/>*Special Note*: Roar has neurological issues in his back legs and cannot jump into cars or onto beds. A ramp would be ideal. Otherwise, he lives a normal, happy life — he just needs a family who understands his mobility needs. Roar also has arthritis in his tail, which can make the area sensitive to touch, so he does best with slow, careful handling to keep him comfortable.<br/><br/>Roar's best home will be a quiet, relaxed environment with adults or older teens and Roar as your only pet.
