Roadie's Story

Please go to www.yvpr.org/adoptions to complete an adoption application.
YVPR does not respond to applications/inquiries originating from Petfinder. Questions about our adoption process can generally be answered by reviewing the Adoption FAQ's.

Roadie is a 2-3 years old boy, weighing in at 6.2 lbs of swagger, sunshine, and second chances!

White with red patches and a strut that says he owns the place; Roadie is a tiny Chihuahua with a massive heart. He came to us June 1 after a rough run-in with a bigger dog that landed him in the hospital. A few vet visits later, this little fighter bounced back with incredible spirit.
Roadie lives for playtime and zoomies, and he makes the best walking partner. He loves being picked up, tucked under your chin, and will stick by your side like Velcro. Ladies, you've got a fan: he's definitely partial to you. He'll also keep watch over the house and let you know when someone's at the door. Think of him as your wireless doorbell with ears. He is housetrained and knows how to use a doggie door. He loves to sleep on the bed with his foster mom. Roadie knows he is a handsome guy as he discovered himself in a full-length mirror. He just stands there starring at himself and whines. Okay, maybe he is a little bit conceited lol. But he does have it going on.
He is sweetest with smaller dogs and people who give good cuddles. Strangers get a bark of warning first, then he checks you out. He also would be just fine if he were the only dog. Roadie does like stuffed animal toys.
Once Neutered and microchipped, he will be ready for his next chapter. If you want a brave, lovable sidekick who knows how to celebrate every day, Roadies your guy.
Apply at http://yvpr.org/adoptions and come meet your new best friend

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent.
