Rizzo ATX's Story

When Rizzo first rolled into TGPR, she and her sister Sandy, were not exactly "summer-lovin." They were filthy, had ear infections and had very little experience with people or the world outside their 4x8 dog run. They survived the hill country summer floods only to be abandoned by their owner. They are sweet, curious and so brave as they learn to trust humans, and TGPR is "hopelessly devoted" to their care. They are proof that with the right support, love and time, even the toughest beginnings can lead to happy endings. They are feeling better and on their way to becoming the companions they were always meant to be. While they did come in together, they are not a bonded pair and will be fostered separately.
