Rivvie's Story
Well hello there! I’m Rivvie. I was born around January 1, 2026. Im a Shepherd mix, expected to grow to about 45-50 pounds. If you haven't heard, I've officially graduated with honors from 'Puppy Progress University'! Just eight short months ago, my world was a dirt field and a cozy foxhole, but oh, how I've blossomed. My foster family says I'm like a whole new dog, confidently navigating the comfy routines of home life. From my shy beginnings, I've transformed into a sweet, affectionate, and playful shepherd mix who's ready to show off all her hard-earned house smarts!

Here are some of my favorite achievements and quirks:
• My Happy Chompers – My foster mom says it’s the cutest thing ever: when she comes home, I flash her a big, toothy grin and chomp my teeth in pure delight! It’s my special way of saying, “Yay, you’re back!”
• Nature’s Observer – I’m quite the explorer in the yard, always on the lookout for interesting beetles and butterflies to politely chase. And the cats? I’m utterly fascinated by them, watching their every move with intense (but calm!) curiosity – I just love their company!
• Home Alone Heroine – Forget the crate, I’ve proven I’m a responsible lady who doesn't need one! I’m perfectly happy and well-behaved when left alone, even if the other dogs go out for an adventure without me, and I’ve never once thought about rearranging the furniture.

I've also perfected my household manners. I'm 100% potty trained – no accidents here! While I might need a tiny bit of encouragement to start a walk, once we’re out, I absolutely love it and walk beautifully on a loose leash. I adore the company of other dogs and have adjusted wonderfully since my sister found her forever home; having canine friends around is just the best. I’m also a big fan of humans, including the little ones, and my polite curiosity makes me a great companion to any feline friends you might have. My energy is a nice low to medium for an 8-month-old pup, making me a versatile and loving addition to almost any family. I'm just waiting for my very own home to fill with my happy chomps and curious spirit!

My adoption fee is $550, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip.
