River was dumped in rural South Carolina with her 3 puppies. She is now spayed, and will never need to worry about being dumped again because we have rescued her. We review every application thoroughly, checking address, history of violence, proper yard and exercise plans. Ensure the adopter has a current vet and that any other pets in the home are current on medical treatment and seen by a veterinarian. Our adopters are also screened by the foster. Our fosters know the dogs best, and know what home is ideal for the dog. We do not just send a dog to the first applicant we receive.
