Professionally Trained & Ready For His Forever Home!!<br/><br/>River is a 15-month-old, 49lb pup who has been professionally trained by Revolutionary Canine which means he will arrive to you with a solid foundation of skills (sit, down/stay, here, place, and heel) and a high level of engagement. He is a bright, food-motivated boy who is eager to learn, making him an ideal match for someone who enjoys working with a smart, capable, loving dog.<br/><br/>River enjoys a rest and relaxation as well as being active —whether that’s hiking, playing fetch or practicing his latest commands. He is equally a fan of "spa time." Once his energy is spent, he seeks out deep affection, thriving on long sessions of cuddles and body rubs and napping to help him loosen up after a day of activity. He is experienced with crate training, utilizing a dog door, finding peace with a frozen Kong or a long-lasting bone. When it’s time to travel, he is a good passenger, often napping until he reaches his destination. He is typically quiet and not much of a barker.<br/><br/>River is not suited for apartment life; he would do best in a quiet home without other animals however, is trained with encountering animals while out and about. He would do best with older children as he prefers a less hectic home. He loves playing outside and would love a fenced yard but it is not a deal breaker with the right home. River is neutered and microchipped. He is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives an is heartworm negative.<br/><br/>River is still a young dog and he requires a leader who will be patient and consistent. He is doing well with his house training when given frequent opportunities to go outside and loves it now that he has learned the dog door.
