River is an adorable Schnauzer Mix, about 6 years old that weighs 13 lbs. He was rescued from high kill shelter after being found on the streets. He is very thin and does need to gain some weight. River is very friendly and cuddly and gets along with kids, adults, other dogs and even cats. He is pretty much house trained, and we are working on his leash training. We review each application and pick the most suitable situation for each dog. WE DO REQUIRE A HOME-CHECK and you must be at least 21 years of age to adopt a dog from our organization. All our dogs are Vet-checked, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to adoption. There is an adoption fee and e-mail us with the dogs name and we can tell you how much their adoption fee is. Remember we are a non profit and all adoption fees are tax deductible.
