~ RIVER ~

Male, Shih Tzu/Pug mix, 6 months old, 9lbs

This sweet boy can be a little bit shy of newcomers at first. Fortunately, it doesn't take him very long to warm up and before long he is cuddled up in your arms and giving sweet kisses. River has had a rough couple of months. He is a recent survivor of parvovirus and had to be hospitalized for treatment. Him and all of his littermates survived and are now looking forward to a happy, healthy future! Because he can be a little bit timid with new people, we are suggesting a home without young children. We think do well with another confident, friendly dog in the household, or just as a solo pup that gets all the attention. River is still young and is still learning his puppy manners. His new family will need to make sure to dedicate plenty of time to training and enrichment, so River can be the happiest version of himself! He is a wonderful dog that will surely bring great joy to his new family!
