Meet River
River came to us from one of our shelter partners. He was found chained to a dumpster with his bed and that’s really all they knew about him. He had some injuries that looked like he may have been hit by a car at some point so of course we jumped in to get him the help he needed.
He is estimated to be about two years old and since being in foster care, we’ve learned that he was already house trained and even knows how to nudge the bells by the door to ask to go outside. He is good on a leash and has done well with the resident dog and cat.
River is a fun-loving pup who loves playing with toys, napping all over (including on his foster mom), and going for walks. He also loves playing with his furry foster sister and wondering what the cat is up to. He is crate-trained, great in the house, and has a loving and sweet personality.
