What Ritz Needs in a Home:<br/> A medium to large resident dog (or dogs) would be ideal - they help him feel safe and confident.<br/> He should be supervised around animals smaller than him.<br/> A calm, predictable home environment is best.<br/> No young children; he needs people who understand boundaries and can read dog body language.<br/> A fenced yard or someone who enjoys regular walks would make him very happy.<br/><br/> Eating & Training:<br/>Ritz had food insecurity early on, which caused tension with his brother. In his current foster home, he eats calmly in the same room as the resident dogs and politely lines up for treats. His progress has been amazing with structure and routine.<br/>He is still improving with potty training - he does give signals, but needs someone who will pay attention. He is fully crate trained.<br/><br/> His Personality:<br/>Ritz is incredibly sweet, gentle, and treat-motivated. He loves cuddling, napping on the couch or dog bed, and relaxing with his people.
