Ripple's Story
Ripple, along with his sister joined Mattie's Place January 12th after being abandoned in a home when the owners moved out with the adult dogs, leaving the pups. OPP were able to attend and remove the puppies and out of a large litter of puppies, Mattie's Place welcomed 2.

We were able to track down the owners social media account and found photos of the parents - American Bulldog mix and Yellow Lab mix.

Ripple is such a sweet puppy. At his 1st vet appointment, January 12th, he weighed in at 4.6 kg - 10 pounds. I'm uncertain how big of a dog he will grow into as an adult but presumably in the 60 - 70 pound range.

He has a DOB: Dec 1/2025

Ripple will receive his booster vaccine and more dewormer before adoption and his final vaccine booster|dewormer will be completed at the rescue veterinarian in Unionville in March.

His non negotiable neuter will take place again, at the Mattie's Place veterinarian, at the cost of Mattie's Place in July 2026. The date will form part of the adoption contract and again, is a non-negotiable neuter date.

Ripple will fit into most lifestyles as he's still just a baby. A home with an adopter mostly home is needed as he navigates these informative months of his life. An adopter willing to work with a professional trainer to ensure Ripple grows up to be the best boy is super important. Having another well mannered dog in the home to serve as a mentor would be a bonus.

Ripple will make an amazing companion. But important to understand all the work that needs to go into a puppy the 1st year of life, so you have an exceptional adult dog for many years to come.

FROM THE FOSTER:

Ripple is a bundle of energy with a heart of gold!

He loves a good chew and a spirited game of tug-of-war, but once playtime is over, he transforms into a cuddle bug, craving one-on-one time.

He is finding is voice and loves to talk to you.

Ripple also thrives when he has someone to look to for direction.

------------------------------------

$875 ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: spay/neuter, deworming, flea/tick prevention, vaccinations, dentals if needed or any added surgical needed surgical care, food, nose to tail health exam, toys, leash|collar, winter coat (seasonal), poop bags, dishes and 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance with immediate coverage on adoption day for any illness or injury not pre-existing.

----------------------------------------

To note: the above description is relevant to this dog in it's current & previous setting.
