Ripple's Story

Meet Ripple!

Ripple is a female Catahoula/cattle dog mix and was born in October 2025! She is a part of our “Greateful Dead” litter and came to B&B with her siblings from a shelter in NC after they reached capacity and needed to "make room". She is such a sweet girl and shy/timid at first, but warms up to people and dogs! Her favorite snack is a cheez-it and she even enjoys being carried in a little pouch on her foster mom! She is really coming out of her shell in her foster home and loves playing with other dogs. To continue growing her confidence, we are recommending another dog in the home. She is working on her crate/potty training and doing well!

Ripple is being fostered in Richmond, VA. She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and her spay when age appropriate. To apply to adopt Ripple, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.

Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
