Ripley enjoys the company of his person or family. <br/>Crate trained, house broken and very smart. <br/>He is very loyal, affectionate, and obedient. <br/>He responds best to fair, consistent training and clear instructions without force (positive reinforcement!)<br/>Has a good recall (once he knows you are his person) knows sits, walks on a leash. but prefers to be off leash, running and stretching his legs. <br/>Does great on car rides. <br/>Good around kids, small dogs and cats. <br/>He has a beautiful black coat with a silver undercoat that just shines. He is simply beautiful. Will need a fenced in yard (a home check would be required) as he doesn't want to potty while on leash. <br/>Ripley will bond fast, and may want to guard his new person. <br/>He is a highly intelligent, energetic, and loyal dog, but does tend to have a protective nature, and willingness to learn. He is affectionate with family once he knows and trusts his people. He will need mental and physical stimulation. He would be ideal for active owner(s) or dog sports.
