Meet Rio! <br/> Rio is a sweet chocolatey colored Lab/Heeler mix born June 28, 2026. This kiddo is discovering that the big world outside his littermates is actually pretty exciting.<br/> This handsome boy is coming out of his shell more every day. He's beginning to explore, play, and show off more of his puppy personality as he gains confidence. Once he knows he's safe, Rio is very happy to snuggle up with his people and settle in for a cozy nap. And if there's a blanket nearby? Even better. Rio LOVES to burrow underneath one and snooze like a little burrito. <br/> He's doing beautifully with the other dogs in his foster home and is learning all about life as a family puppy. He isn't a huge fan of going into his kennel just yet, but with a little encouragement, he'll go in. It is a skill he's continuing to work on. Rio will thrive with a patient family who understands that puppies are still learning and growing.
