RIO's Story

RIO HAS HAD ONE EMAIL IN ALL MOST 2 YEARS!! HE IS AN AMAZING SWEET GUY, STILL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME! MEET RIO! Rio was down in South Texas and he was very sick. One of our volunteer saw him and he really spoke to her heart. So we had him transport it up here and began his medical treatment. Rio was a tiny puppy that was emaciated and dying from parasites! Those days are over for him and he is now a healthy boy! Rio is 2 year old and 41 lbs and fully grown. This boy is a sweetheart! He loves other dogs. No cats with him. Rio is super sweet and smart and loves to be with his people. We think when dogs come from a hard situation, they really show their appreciation. Would you like to meet sweet boy? Mini Mutts Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

We schedule private meet and greets with approved adopters. Please email us for an application. We are a foster based program and we all work full time and are all volunteers. We DO NOT do out-of-state adoptions due to required home/fence checks and we prefer to do proper dog introductions with other dogs to make sure it is a good fit before adopting.
