Rio

Rio is one of Etta’s Lucky Eleven puppies born into our care after we pulled their mama Etta James off the euthanasia list from a local high-kill shelter. Much to our surprise, a few weeks after pulling Etta James to safety, we discovered that she was pregnant and she soon delivered eleven puppies into her foster home. Rio, one of the male puppies of the litter, has such a stunning brindle coat like his mama. Like most young puppies, Rio is extremely friendly, playful, and is basically a blank slate as far as potential and trainability go. All of the puppies in Etta’s litter have been moved to foster homes in pairs or trios to work on starting potty training, learning manners, and learning to co-exist in many different types of houses with different families.
