Ringo's Story

Ringo is a two-year-old mixed-breed sweetheart with a gentle soul and a big heart. He is an Australian Cattle Dog mix; Ringo is really just a soft, sensitive cuddle bug.

Ringo can be a bit shy and timid when meeting new people or experiencing new environments. Once he feels safe though, his affectionate nature shines. He bonds deeply with his person and loves curling up next to you for quiet cuddles and companionship.

He is crate trained and does well with structure. Car rides aren’t his favorite activity, but he has learned to tolerate them and continues to improve with reassurance and patience.

Ringo has Valley Fever, which is common in Arizona dogs, he is currently doing well on treatment. Many dogs with Valley Fever live long, happy lives with proper care, and Ringo is no exception.

Because he is a sensitive boy, Ringo would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can take his time building confidence and trust. In return, he will reward his person with deep loyalty, quiet companionship, and lots of cuddles.

RUFF Rescue Tucson (Rehoming Unwanted Furry Friends)'s Adoption Policy
Adopting a homeless pet can be one of life's most rewarding experiences. Many of the animals in our rescues are "throw aways." They come from a variety of situations. Some of their guardians have passed away, some are given up by impatient caregivers, some are strays and some are just homeless because they no longer fill the need for which they were originally obtained. Most rescue animals seem to understand that they have been given a second chance and are totally devoted to their new family. They will fill your life with unconditional love, laughter and happiness. Before you shop, please adopt! RUFF Rescue does not have a physical shelter. All of our furry friends are in foster homes until adoption into their forever homes. To meet one of our pets, please call or email for an adoption application and a brief phone interview. We can then set up a meeting in your home.
