Riley AKA Harry's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. In 2018, San Bernardino City Shelter sent out an urgent plea, asking rescues to pick up 3 malnourished underaged pups dropped off in a bucket smelling of gasoline. All pups had chemical burns most likely from the gas. Harry was the smallest of the three and suffered the most chemical burns of all and had to spend several nights at the emergency vet in an oxygen tank on IV fluids. He then had a seizure after being released so he was on watch for the next month and miraculously, Harry survived. He grew into an affectionate bundle of energy and silliness and was adopted at about 4 mos old and renamed Riley.
Six years later, Riley's family suffered a tragedy and could no longer keep him so he is with a foster family. He is a little shy and sad to be away from his family, but he loves playing with their 4 large breed dogs and is having a great time!
He grew up around kids and other dogs of all sizes and does great with both.He prefers a home with at least one other friendly, playful dog to keep him company.
Email cause4sbpaws@gmail.com and/or fillout an application now: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/forms/form?formid=3251 11/29/25 8:34 PM
