RILEY

Riley is a spayed herding dog mix and petite at 40 pounds. She is ready to find a patient and loving home to call her own. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her just a little time and you’ll see her sweet personality shine through as she warms up quickly and forms strong bonds with her people. She put that on display at her recent Doggy Day Out. At the beginning of the day, she would not jump into the car. By the end of the day, she was jumping in by herself with a little encouragement! And once clipped into the car, she always traveled quietly like a pro. She did meet with a few dogs during her day out and was nice and laid back. Riley took treats gently, got affectionate with people, and explored. From the beginning to the end, Riley completely blossomed into her best, loving, affectionate and trusting self! This gentle girl loves to run and would enjoy an active home where she can stretch her legs and have fun. Riley is also very treat-motivated and already knows how to sit, making her a great candidate for continued training and learning new tricks. Riley will be a devoted, fun and loyal companion.
