Hi! I’m Riley, a young adult full of curiosity and smarts. I love exploring every nook and cranny of my surroundings, sniffing out adventures. Although I might be a bit shy at first, give me a little time and I’ll warm up, showing you my goofy and energetic side. I get along well with most dogs and love playing games that challenge my brain. I’m looking for a forever home where I can share all my love and funny antics. Adopting me means gaining a loyal and joyful companion ready to brighten your days! I'd love to find an active family to play with me. I'm very food/treat motivated and crate trained. She is spayed, and her adoption includes a microchip with lifetime registration, 4dx SNAP heartworm test, DHLPP, Bordetella, and rabies and parasite control. Highland County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

All of our adoptable animals are pulled from local pounds, strays or owner surrenders. Interested in adoption? Contact us at info@highlandcountyhumanesociety.org for an application to be emailed or mailed to you. Once we've received your application, it's reviewed for approval, once approved, a date and time is arranged to meet the pet. Currently all of our animals are in foster homes. We can meet you or arrange transportation for meeting the adoptable pet or for releasing the pet into your care. Adoption fees include pre-adoption spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and flea/tick treatment. Currently we are a foster-based program. If you'd like to meet an available adoptable animals, that can easily be arranged.
